Trainers have always been an independent breed: in the classroom they are king of all they survey. These days things are a little more rigorous, but the author finds most trainers would prefer to personalize the way they deliver the learning rather than use someone else's plan. Perhaps it is one of the reasons that in some organizations trainers can be very negative towards e-learning. On the other aspect trainers may be right: unfortunately, the way that some corporate training is written, it tends to assume that 'one size fits all'. It was at the LETSI event in Pensacola, FL, 12 months ago that the Orchestration working group started to put together proposals on sequencing, believing that current models were not working well enough.
