Thanks to the success of the Indian economy over the past decade and a gradual process of economic reform in the world's most populous democracy, firms from the sub-continent are setting up ventures in Africa in a variety of sectors. Textiles are an obvious target for inward investment thanks to the benefits of the African Growth and Opportunity Act (Agoa), but the oil and IT sectors are also proving to be popular.
