Summary
Prudential is a leading, world-wide, life assurance and pensions provider. One the most important factors for Prudential in achieving continued profitable growth and delivering a good customer experience, is developing its people capability. A small project team was set up to plan and implement the replacement of the existing learning portal with an enterprise-wide solution that was scalable, adhered to industry standards and could be seamlessly integrated with other key systems. This solution was the Prudential Managed Learning Environment (PMLE). The PMLE is a multi-function environment of which the Learner Management System is the core component. A passion for e-learning, an exciting project, total commitment, gelling of the team, sharing and dependency on each other did wonders for this project. While each individual bought their own skills and experience to the project, the success of such a small team delivering such a large project in such a short space of time was down to the team working together.
