The IIFA Yorkshire 2007: Evaluating the Impact of IIFA on Yorkshire report was released by the Yorkshire Tourist Board (YTB) last week.

The report said: "In addition to the £2 million generated by the core IIFA Weekend 2007 events, Yorkshire Tourist Board state that the original Yorkshire Forward investment of £2 million+VAT to host the events was spent mainly within the Yorkshire region. The Yorkshire Tourist Board estimated that attendance at the fringe events totalled 180,000, who generated an estimated spend of £8 million based on an average spend of £45.
