There is no doubt that the forecast tidal wave of serious games has not yet arrived in the corporate sector. Its take-up of serious games as a main stream training tool remains a trickle rather than a tidal wave. Yet despite this challenging climate, leading UK serious games companies have still been making strides in the corporate market. Companies like PIXELearning and Caspian Learning have brought innovative and exciting serious games projects to corporate clients. Using one customer contact for each scenario, PIXELearning created multiple routes through each interaction to evaluate learners' abilities and give them meaningful and detailed feedback on where they could improve. Another company that has completed a potentially ground breaking project is Epc, the first UK learning company to deliver a training game on Nintendo DS. Although the game is for the British Army and not a corporate client, it is worthy of inclusion because it is for one of the largest and most respected training organizations in the UK.
