A noteworthy artistic interpretation of the final days of Nubia has been executed by artist Margo Veillon. Nubia is an ancient land fated to be drowned in Lake Nasser as the High Aswan Dam project was finished. Her works on the Nubia are an attempt to preserve through records the culture of the Nubian people. She went on a 16-day journey to Nubia to record as much of the place's living culture as she can.
