Peter Norvig, Google's director of research, presented the 2007 Learning Technologist of the Year Awards at the Association for Learning Technology conference in Nottingham. The aim of the competition, run by the Association for Learning Technology for the first time this year, is to celebrate and reward excellent practice and outstanding achievement in the application of technology to teaching and learning. The winners are: 1. Philip Cosson from the School of Health and Social Care at the University of Tesside, 2. Hannah Whaley from Dundee University, and 3. The PebblePad Development Team from Pebble Learning Ltd.
