Online Educa ran in Berlin earlier this month and it is one of the few e-learning conferences around the world that does not seem to be shrinking. It had over 1,700 people from 66 countries. There were calls for more open systems to allow e-learning content to easily be accessed from any LMS without the great wall of integration getting in the way. The US e-learning guru, Brandon Hall, gave a keynote presentation focused on what he saw as the main trends in the e-learning world. The e-learning is being designed for implementation, so that means organizations address the issue of change management, as well as the technology. The power of technology gives leverage to all learning and learning is the ultimate competitive advantage for an organization.
