Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific
The European private sector favors the the idea of adding new members to the Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific (ACP) group and wants a greater role in the ACP-EU Centre for the Development of Industry. Among those being considered include Bangladesh, Yemen, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Nepal and the Maldives, all of which are less developed countries.
