The greatest price difference, I have noticed, occurs with coriander, which is sold almost as a luxury herb at Sainsbury's, Waitrose and other supermarkets. But in the ethnic markets, a couple of big bunches can still be bought for practically a nominal sum. In Tooting there is a wider range of Indian vegetables available than at either Sainsbury's or Waitrose.
